Set up WeChat Official Account

To sync messages from WeChat official accounts to WeChat Connector, complete the following tasks:

Configure Official Account Information

Configure Dynamics 365 Connection String

Select one of the “WeChat Official Account” creation record which you want to sync messages, click “Setup” tab and then enter the below information.

CRM Environment ID
a. Sign in to Power Apps portal：https://make.powerapps.com/
b. Select the environment where the WeChat Connector application is located
Environment ID
Click the ⚙ icon in the upper-right corner to open the Settings page, then click Session details to retrieve the Environment ID
Environment URL
a. Go to the Settings page in Power Apps
b. Click Session details to get the Instance URL
Auth Type
In the authentication credentials options, you can select either “Client Secret (application registration)” or “OAuth (user Credentials)” based on the scope.
Client ID
a. Sign in to the Azure portal: https://portal.azure.com/
b. Under the “Azure services” heading, select “Subscriptions” to get Client ID

Configure Official Account Basic Information

Client Secret – Retrieved after customization by the developer
Account Name - Can be obtained from WeChat see prerequisite.
Portal URL – Provided by the developer
App ID - Can be obtained from WeChat see prerequisite.
App Secret - Can be obtained from WeChat see prerequisite.
Token - Can be obtained from WeChat see prerequisite
EncondingAESKey - Can be obtained from WeChat see prerequisite

NOTE: Before saving, you need to verify that the URL in the WeChat Developer Platform matches the Portal URL in the above form. Once confirmed, click “Load” and then “Save”.
