Capture WeChat user profile from Marketing Form
WeChat follower record will be created and link to lead or contact when the marketing form is submitted within WeChat mobile app, given that user has given the consent to obtain their WeChat profile. This will allow WeChat Connector to track if WeChat users have interacted with the marketing page.
To setup the marketing form capable of capturing WeChat user profile please follow the steps below:
- Navigate to “Customer Insights- Journey” app –> Forms to create a new or update existing marketing form.
- On the marketing form click on “Fields” then click “WeChat Profile” to add “WeChat Profile” field to the form.
- After the “WeChat Profile” field has been added to the form, hide the field (WeChat Connector will capture WeChat user profile and store the detail in the field in the background).
- Save/Publish to publish the marketing form.
- Please see “WeChat Marketing Channel” to generate a hyper link that will embed the marketing form to capture WeChat user profile.
