Capture WeChat user profile when register marketing event
Similarly to the marketing form, WeChat user profile can be captured when attendees registered Customer Insights Events within WeChat mobile app.
To setup the event registration form capable of capturing WeChat user details please follow the steps below:
- Navigate to “Customer Insights- Journey” app –> Event Planning -> Events to create a new or update existing event.
- On the event form click on “Website and form” tab then click “Registration form” to add “WeChat Profile” field to the form.
- After the “WeChat Profile” field has been added to the form, hide the field (WeChat Connector will capture WeChat user profile and store the detail in the field in the background).
- Save/Publish to publish the registration form.
