Send Templated Message
- Select the WeChat Message Template.
- Populate the Text field with text that will be used to populate the template, and separate the value using double bar “||”, per example below:
- Select “Compliance profile”, on how to setup compliance profile, please refer Privacy and compliance.
- Select “Transactional” in the “Purpose” field, as template message is usually a transactional message.
- Finally click on “Ready to Send” on the top right corner of the dialog.
For example, the WeChat Template Message below:
个人信息审核通过通知

审核时间:{{time2.DATA}}
{{phrase1.DATA}} - must be all Chinese characters without blank
{{time2.DATA}} - must be the time string in this format yyyy-mm-dd hh:MM:ss

Message should look like below:
- On the Journey, after selecting/creating new “Custom Channel Message”, once journey flow setup is completed, click on “Publish” to make the journey live.
- WeChat Template Message will be sent once the WeChat Custom Channel step is executed (Providing that contact/lead’s “WeChat Follower Account”, Contact/lead mobile phone fields both contain data, and mobile phone matches to a “Contact Point Consent” record with “Channel” set to “Custom” if applicable)
