Follower Accounts

WeChat Follower is usually linked to a contact record via “WeChat Follower Account” lookup column on contact table.

When WeChat user follows the WeChat Official Account in WeChat, or when contact’s WeChat Profile” column is populated with data from WeChat, system will automatically create the WeChat follower account record in Dynamics 365.

When Follower is created from WeChat Profile on contact below columns will be populated:

Nickname
Public Account Open ID
Union ID
WeChat Account
Profile Photo Address
City
Province
Country

When Follower is created when WeChat user subscribes to WeChat Official Account, only below columns will be populated:

Nickname
Public Account Open ID
Union ID
WeChat Account

NOTE: When user follows WeChat Official Account, contact will be created if “Auto Create Contact” in WeChat Account is set to Yes.

NOTE: Deactivating/Deleting WeChat Follower Account does not remove or add follower to the blacklist in WeChat Official Account.
